Relationships Matter
Hallmark Casework and UT Austin have a long-standing relationship from multiple projects. Because of this relationship, Hallmark was contacted by UT Dallas early in their Bioengineering Facility project to assist in budgeting, development and design stages. Through value engineering, the casework need changed from walnut to bamboo, bamboo to wood on steel, and finally square-edge steel cabinets with inset doors. Because of the relationship with Beck, the General Contractor, Hallmark was introduced to the owner at the beginning of the process to gain trust, build confidence and ultimately deliver the project.
